- PPSSPP; PPSSPP-Qt; So i think that you can assume that controller is working in my system. But in ppsspp, both SDL and Qt versions from community repo and ppsspp-git from AUR, there is no response at all. Literally nothing happens. I have a setting app opened in background and i can see which key i press, but ppsspp cant register that.
- PPSSPP won't detect ps3 controller I was trying to play Burnout Legends I switched the emulator and ppsspp won't detect the controller but ls-ppsspp will. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Your PS3 controller is the option marked 'Wireless Controller (Interface number)' where the number pertains to the USB port to which the controller is attached. If you're using a non-wired controller, you'll need to select the USB device you're using to facilitate the connection under the 'Bluetooth' section above the 'DualShock 3 Controllers.
Use the PSP™ system's wireless LAN feature to connect the system to the PS3™ system. https://yellowgrand639.weebly.com/inventory-management-system-project-in-vb-60-free-download.html. This connection method is available only on PS3™ systems that are equipped with the wireless LAN feature.
Getting ready (PSP™ system and PS3™ system)
To use remote play for the first time, you must register (pair) the PSP™ system with the PS3™ system.
2. | From the PSP™ system's home menu, select (USB Connection) under (Settings). |
---|---|
5. | Confirm that a USB connection has been established between the PSP™ system and the PS3™ system, and then select [OK]. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration (pairing). |
Hints
- You can use the USB cable for the wireless controller to connect the PSP™ system to the PS3™ system.
- If you register a PSP™ system that had been registered with another PS3™ system, the registration with the first PS3™ system will be cleared.
Using remote play
4. | Select [PlayStation(R)3] from the list of connections. If the connection is successful, the PS3™ system screen is displayed on the PSP™ system. |
---|
Hints
- Remote play can be used within range of the PS3™ system's wireless LAN.
- If you enable the remote start setting on your PS3™ system, you can set your PS3™ system to be turned on automatically (Wake on LAN). In this case, you do not have to perform step 1 above. For details, refer to (Settings) > (Remote Play Settings) > [Remote Start] in the user's guide for the PS3™ system.
Quitting remote play
Press the PS button (HOME button) on the PSP™ system, and then select [Quit and Turn Off the PS3™ System] from [Quit Remote Play].
Hint
If the PS3™ system is performing a function such as copying or downloading a file and you do not want to turn it off, you can instead select [Quit Without Turning Off the PS3™ System].

I'm not sure how PCSX2 does it, but it might talk directly to the PS3 controller with RawInput or something, while PPSSPP uses DirectInput and/or XInput, which are built-in to Windows itself. So if your computer doesn't 'understand' what a PS3 controller is on its own, PPSSPP won't, either.
